Is your financial product giving customers too much to figure out?

Complex financial products come with complex information.

But when every decision requires users to interpret data, compare options, and figure out what happens next, complexity starts becoming a product problem.

More information doesn't always mean better decisions

Financial products are rarely simple.

There are numbers to compare. Returns to understand. Terms to evaluate. Risks to consider.

So the natural response is to show more.

More data.

More charts.

More details.

But information only becomes useful when people can make sense of it.

When everything competes for attention, the important details become harder to find. And when finding the right information takes too much effort, confidence starts to drop.

What happens when complex investment journeys are designed around decisions?

This was the challenge behind Yubi, a unified platform for corporate debt lifecycle management covering co-lending, pool financing, bonds, and loans.

The goal wasn't to remove the complexity of corporate debt.

It was to make that complexity easier to navigate.

NetBramha restructured the experience around clearer investment workflows, simplified navigation, and easier bond discovery. Deal information was given a stronger hierarchy so investors could understand opportunities without digging through disconnected information.

Interactive performance visualizations made complex bond data easier to interpret, while a transparent returns estimator helped investors understand potential outcomes through clearer projections. Real-time investment tracking then gave investors visibility into active deals and their status.

The result wasn't simply a cleaner interface.

Yubi processed ₹13+ crore in investments, reached 45% market share in MLDs, improved investor adoption, and created a faster onboarding experience by reducing friction in account setup and initiation.

The goal isn't to make complex products simple

It's to make them easier to understand. There's a difference.

You can't remove the complexity from a corporate debt transaction. You can make the right information easier to find. You can make comparisons easier. You can make returns easier to understand. You can make the next step obvious.

Good financial UX doesn't hide complexity. It gives people better control over it.

This is one of the many issues from our fintech UX pattern library, built from real projects across payments, banking, lending, investment, and financial services.
