Aashish Solanki received the Eminent Engineer Award from the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Karnataka, Sri. Siddaramaiah, recognising his contribution to design and innovation. The honour marks a proud moment for NetBramha and the design community.
Design continues to find its place beyond traditional boundaries. As organisations, enterprises, and governments increasingly recognise the role of design and design thinking in improving lives and experiences, moments that acknowledge this impact become meaningful milestones for the design community.
One such moment came on the occasion of the 56th Engineer’s Day, when our Founder & CEO, Aashish Solanki, was honoured with the prestigious “Eminent Engineer” Award by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Karnataka, Sri. Siddaramaiah.

Engineer’s Day is observed across India every year on 15 September to commemorate the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Sir M. Visvesvaraya.
Established by The Institution of Engineers (India), the day is an opportunity to recognise and pay tribute to professionals who have made exceptional contributions to the engineering profession and their respective fields.
For Aashish, being recognised on this occasion was particularly significant as a designer working at the intersection of design, technology, and innovation.
The recognition represents more than an individual achievement.
It reflects the growing awareness of the role design can play across diverse fields. Design is no longer confined to aesthetics or visual expression. It is increasingly recognised as a transformative force that can influence innovation, solve complex problems, and improve experiences.
Having a designer recognised with an “Eminent Engineer” Award is a meaningful reflection of this expanding influence.
It demonstrates how design and design thinking are increasingly finding relevance within organisations, enterprises, and even governments — contributing to the way we shape products, services, systems, and experiences.

At the heart of this recognition is a continued commitment to challenging the status quo through design.
Aashish’s vision has driven the NetBramha team to create innovative solutions that break barriers through out-of-the-box thinking.
The recognition serves as a reminder that meaningful design is not simply about creating something visually appealing. It is about questioning existing approaches, identifying opportunities, and using design as a tool to create meaningful change.
For the design community, recognition such as this signals a broader shift in how the profession is perceived.
As design continues to influence technology, business, engineering, and society, designers are increasingly contributing to conversations that extend far beyond traditional design disciplines.
The Eminent Engineer Award stands as a reflection of that changing landscape - and of the possibilities that emerge when design is recognised as a force for innovation and progress.
We extend our sincere gratitude to The Institution of Engineers (India) and the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Karnataka, Sri. Siddaramaiah, for this distinguished honour.
The Institution of Engineers (India) has played an important role in recognising excellence within the engineering profession, and being acknowledged as part of this community makes the occasion particularly meaningful.
For NetBramha Studios, this recognition is both a moment to celebrate and a motivation to keep pushing boundaries, challenging norms, and pursuing design excellence.
The Eminent Engineer Award is a reminder of the growing possibilities of design - and the role designers can play in shaping the future through innovation, design thinking, and a commitment to creating better experiences.
